I bought a usb plug and play headset and although the sound setting are on max and properly set up I get a very low and distorted output. Digging around the internet I came across other people having the same problems with usb headsets and win8 and 10 usb at2020 drivers. Microsoft haven't addressed the issue in the past 3 years. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
I use a Logitech g430. Never had a problem in Windows 10. The good thing, is if you have a problem with the USB dongle you could just use it without the dongle. By plugging it in to the audio input jack and microphone jack.
Just go and get a SS Siberia usb edition and forget about everything else ^^. 5.1 Channel headphones with the best sound I have tested so far. Headphones cost between 30-50£, but are worth every penny. I have tested Logitech, Razer and Sennheiser, but nothing can beat Steelseries as always. PS. Got 7 Siberia headphones at home, if you need a pair can hook you up
I ordered Kingston - HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset. Most reviews gave these better mic than the logitech 430 that I was about to buy. 2 weeks I will test them and if I still have the same problem I will let you know. Found them for about 150 euro
I have the Akuma nemesis 7.1 surround sound gaming headset USB works fine on windows 10 just plugged it in installed the software and worked fine and still does very cheap £16.89 wired or £27.99 wireless on ebay
