Battlefield 3 Reality Mod

Hey peeps, I recently stumbled upon the BF3 Reality Mod that is currently being developed.
Don't get your hopes up. It is currently not publicly playable just yet and will launch in a rather bare bones state with the first iteration not featuring vics and/or resource points.
That said, as a Squad player I am aware of our heritage and how much we owe to projects like Project Reality based in the Battlefield series.
So I thought I would raise some awareness for people who might not have heard and when the first versions become available for play testing I think we should jump on, give it a try and provide feedback based in our extensive knowledge of the genre.

Might be something fun to do for a few days with Squad being somewhat slow delivering new content at the moment.

I'll definitely give it a try and it looks very promising. I just hope they don't make the same mistakes OWI made. Imagine Squad with better graphics, functioning vehicle physics and a destructible environment!

Sure there might be some things Squad didn't get quite right but it has come a long way over the years and I really like it. I am under no illusion that a team of modders can provide us with anything close to what Squad currently is, especially on their initial launch.
I am just excited to play something new that is right down my/our alley. Some new maps, guns etc. sounds fun to me.

Oh definitely. I'm excited too. I think they shouldn't make the same mistakes like promising one thing and delivering...well...nothing. And even if there are some problems in development just talk about it and say "Hey, we f*cked up". I can imagine that this mod could actually be better than Squad. I don't expect a perfect game without any bugs but if the core gameplay is good and they slowly but surely add new features to it, I can see myself playing this mod more than Squad
