Appreciation Post
Hi everyone. I would like to make a little appreciation post.
I joined RIP in May 2020, a few months after the coronavirus pandemic sent the UK and most of the world into national lockdown. I joined for a variety of reasons but simply put i wanted to join a community of awesome people i could have a laugh with and chill out with after a hard day of work. As many of you may know im a secondary school teacher in England and as you can imagine it's a damn stressful time. Without getting too personal, i haven't been able to see any of my family for about 16 months, due to the pandemic, i wasn't even able to see any family at Christmas as well as missing family celebrations and funerals. It has been a very tough year for everyone.
I would just like to say thank you to everyone in this community. From new members who help this community grow right up to senior members who organise events and keep everything running. You are amazing! I have met some awesome people during my time in RIP though there are a few in particular that have made my time at RIP that little bit more special and i would like to thank those people personally. In no particular order the following superstars are:

Thanks for your feedback mate This is exactly what RIP is meant to be: A safe haven for all of us, where we can escape to every now and again, to enjoy bantering and gaming with friends. No hate, no toxicity, just a bunch of friendly lads. I am forever greatful to have found this community over every other one.
Cheers

Ah! That’s a really nice post.
Ditto Unholy Muffin’s points. That’s been my experience of RIP and therefore always try to give off those vibes whether on the server or otherwise.
