Squad Rules Update 16.01.2024

Post by OniX »

Squad server rule update
  • Junior admins need to state their name at the end of the kick message like "Continuously locking squad - Muzzow".
  • Admins need to be aware and active at monitoring and maintaining game play balance, this is to ensure that our reputation remains excellent and will keep our server active.
  • All Members need to be on a Discord Voice channel when on any of are servers we host for admin reasons.
Rip vs the World updated rules
  • Every Friday at or around 18:00 UTC members stack up on one side following the announcement that the event has started.
  • Please be aware that you might be switched over by other admins.

    Switching Rules:
  • Only allowed to switch in Staging phase unless the player just joined or unassigned.
  • We must always keep the players on our side at "50" or below.
  • When you switch/are switching please ensure that at least one public player is switched to the other side to keep the player balance fair.
  • Move other clans/groups to the non [RIP] side to decrease the chance of a bad dynamic.

Additional rules for RIP vs the World
If the [RIP] team is winning rounds easily this will will impact the overall dynamic. If this is the case please use the following rules for AAS and RAAS:
  • Allow the "World" team to cap 50% of the caps before [RIP] attacks.
  • Do not attack the enemy main supply routes or main bases.
  • Do not push beyond the front line during the early stages of the game.
  • Do not push inactive capture points to give them opportunities for a counterattack.

    Balance
  • The 6 Member Per Squad rule WILL stay in effect
  • Squad Command Admins have the final say if the server is unbalanced or not and whether or not members should switch.
  • In matters that have reached a stalemate Squad command admins have final say.
  • Members are expected to evaluate and discuss outcomes of rounds. If one team is getting stomped several rounds in a row, members are obligated to re-balance by switching over and help out the losing side.
  • The side with the majority of inexperienced/new players will now host the majority of the more experienced RIP members that can show them the ropes.
  • Repeat the process until the game is somewhat balanced - over-corrections will be unlikely but in such cases, the rule still applies and will lead to people switching back.
  • J admin have had there Switching command removed as the best way to log and track command is with BM
